Sister Ana Lugtu, born on April 15, 1938, is the oldest daughter of Damian Lingat and Rosa Salta. She was married to Brother Salvador Lugtu and they were blessed with 7 children, namely Efren, Ruby, Abner, Leyna, Sarlea, Lydia and Erma.
Half of her life was dedicated in taking care of her husband, brother Salvador, in fulfilling his ministerial function. They were assigned in various congregations in the Visayas region of the Philippines and later in the province of Pampanga.
With the passing of Brother Salvador in 1987, sister Ana migrated to the US with all her children. The remaining half of her life was dedicated to guiding her children to become faithful in their services to God. She also made sure that the legacy of her husband will be passed on not only to her children but also her grandchildren.
She demonstrated to her children and grandchildren loyalty and dedication to God by fulfilling her duties even when life is difficult and full of challenges, teaching her loved ones to always look to God, pray, and wait patiently for His help. Even at her dying hour, she showed the power of prayer, her deep respect to God, and submission to His will.
