My father was everything to me. Not only did he serve as a mentor and best friend to me, he set an amazing example of the kind of person that I want to be. He was the most caring individual I’ve ever known- his love for family and friends was limitless and he took great joy in the fact that he helped make us happy. His tireless drive and work ethic is one I can only hope to emulate, and I deeply appreciated his support. When we spoke, he could calm me instantly and reassure me that everything would be alright. Not only was he my emotional rock, but he served as an anchor for all of my goals. He worked tirelessly to give everyone a better life, and the ability to chase our dreams. He lived his life with passion and joy, and as his son I got to experience this passion through the many activities we shared together, from scuba diving in the Bahamas and Monterey to attending countless Sharks games together. I will never forget our trips, whether that was abroad or to the store. He encouraged me in every facet of my life and his only motive was for me to be happy.
I will never forget his contagious laugh and smile. I will never forget the hugs we would share after a long time apart. I will never forget how we could talk for hours about things it seemed only me and him understood. I will never forget all that he taught me about life and how to be a man. There has never been a day and there will never be one in which I don’t think about him in some way. I will always miss him. I will always love him
His loving son,
