Alan Navarrete Aligada

The final release of a loved one is painful. Even Jesus’ tears flowed when His good friend Lazarus died (John 11:35). But because of God’s promises, we have hope beyond physical death. Psalm 116:15 says that God’s “faithful servants” – those who belong to Him are “precious” to Him. Though they die, they’ll be alive again.

Our beloved brother, Alan Navarrete Aligada, of Alameda California, U.S.A. went home to Jesus on August 4, 2020 at the age of 45. He died peacefully in the loving arms of our Lord. Alan was born on May 23, 1975 in Dasmariñas City Cavite, Philippines, to Casiano Jr. and Nenita Aligada.

He was a member of the Palapala United Methodist Church in the Philippines and East Bay Baptist Church in the U.S. He is a good Servant of the Lord, very active Church Leader, Youth Coordinator and served in different ministries of the church. He loves to dance for the Lord, enjoys teaching little children and attending church activities, seminars, training and camps. He will always be remembered by his family, relatives, friends, churchmates, workmates, schoolmates, colleagues for his kindness and for being loving, humorous, jolly, and friendly. He is now with our Papa in heaven. Papa and Alan will remain in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his loving mother, Nenita Aligada; brother/sister-inlaw/ nieces/nephew, Arnold/Arlie/Grace Anne/Rowaynne/Seth Aligada; and sister/brother-in-law/nephew, Anna Liza/Julius/AJ Tibayan.

Arrangements are with Greer Family Mortuary and Cremation Services. Alan’s viewing/tributes will be held on August 14, 2020, Friday, from 2:00-4:00 pm U.S. time, August 15, 2020, Saturday, from 5:00-7:00 am Phil time.
