I came across your beautiful tribute to your father by -- coincidence? -- and was touched to my core. My own mother just turned 95 and I am grateful for every day I have with this brave and beautiful woman. Our elders are, without question, the Greatest Generation and we owe them a debt of gratitude for their humble service that we will never be able to repay, no matter how long we live. My heart goes out to you and to your cousins in your loss, but I know you have beautiful memories to share. God bless you and thank God for your father and his service to his country . . . to his beloved Golden Retrievers!
