Benjamin V. Nicdao

Timothy 4:7-8 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”

After many and long years of valiant fight, we are saddened to announce that our loving father Benjamin V. Nicdao has passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 02, 2023 at the age of 72. He is survived by his wife Josefina and his three children Analyn (husband Charlie and grandchildren Krisha, Carlo, Nico, Lianna), Reymon (wife Angel and grandchildren MC and Matthew), and Ronald (wife Carmi).

Benjamin “Ben” was born in San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines on October 7, 1950. His childhood was not easy in terms of livelihood so he strived to excel in his studies to help the entire family. With God’s grace, he graduated with honors and worked his way up. For long years, he held a prominent position as Director for Insular Life, an insurance company in the Philippines, until his immigration in the US in August 2002. With this, he was able to financially support his family/clan. He was called “SUPERMAN” because of his strength, generosity, kindness, unceasing support, and unconditional love for the whole family.

Ben will always be regarded as the most loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, friend, boss, et. al. He will always be the pillar of light to the whole Nicdao clan.  He will be continuously be loved and live in the hearts of everyone whom his life have touched. A devoted Catholic and great man of God whose legacy to inspire will continue on. His Facebook friends will miss his Daily Bible Verses shared in his posts. It will be impossible to forget him in this lifetime.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Benjamin’s life on Wednesday, February 15th at Greer Family Mortuary and Cremation Services in Alameda. Viewing will begin at 10:00 am to 1:30 pm. Please share your memories with the family on the tribute wall.
