Phêrô Phạm Xuân Cảnh

It is with great sadness Cảnh Xuân Phạm was called back to God in his sleep on May 5th, 2021 at the age of 83. Cảnh was a devoted husband and father. He was born in Vietnam in 1937 and survived three wars. He immigrated to the United States with his family in 1975, settling in Minnesota. Cảnh sacrificed long hours to achieve the American dream and was determined to provide for his family and future generations. He enjoyed cooking, road trips, classic television shows, and spending time with family. Cảnh found solace in his faith in God.

Cảnh is survived by his wife Ngọc-Lan Trần, his daughters Hương Uhr (Jeff) and Thu Uhr, his son John-Paul Phạm (Hương), stepchildren Ngọc-Sơn Lu (Khanh), Hương-Lan Lu, Thái-Sơn Lu (Thủy), and Minh-Nhật Trần (Nhi), and sister Ngọc-Nguyệt Phạm. Cảnh was predeceased by his daughter Lan Beales and brother Trung-Thăng Phạm. Cảnh will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and dear friends.

Family and friends who are unable to attend the Funeral Liturgy in person are invited to virtually attend on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
