Clementina (Rueda) Olveira was born to Juan de Dios Rueda and Ana Tulia Perez on December 20, 1927 in rural Colombia, South America.  She helped raise her brothers and sisters after the untimely death of her parents.  Clementina ventured to the United States in the mid-1950’s with the assistance of Assembly of God missionaries.  She met her husband-to-be, Andres Olveira, in Alameda, CA in 1957.  They married and settled there for the rest of their lives.  Along the way, they became proud naturalized citizens, homeowners, and a proud part of the Alameda community.

Clementina is survived by her son, Andres and his wife Diana, along with three grandchildren, Andres Michael, Eric, and Natalia.  Clementina is also survived by her brother Luis, sister Maria and brother-in-law Jose, and many nephews and nieces.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 19th at 11:00 am at Greer Family Mortuary, 2694 Blanding Ave, Alameda. Interment to follow at Mt. View Cemetery, 5000 Piedmont Ave, Oakland.
