Born in San Francisco, California on January 10, 1940 to Frank and May Moy, Faye passed away peacefully in Alameda, CA on August 3, 2017 at the age of 77.

Faye is survived by her husband of 54 years, Carl. She was the loving mother of SuAnn and Julie; mother-in-law to Daniel Chin and Glenn Pon; grandmother of Caitlin and Tyler Pon, and Natalee Chin; sister to Evelyn Lorenzana, Lonnie Walker, David Moy, and Vicky Wong.

Faye graduated from Oakland High School in 1957. She worked for the Alameda Unified School District for 23 years.  Faye enjoyed travelling, reading, and playing Mah Jong.   She often spent time at the Mastick Senior Center in Alameda.  Faye was a member of the Chinese Independent Baptist Church of Oakland for over 60 years, where she taught Sunday School.  She was affectionately known to all of her students as “Auntie Faye”.

We will miss her greatly and rejoice in knowing that Faye is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Faye’s Life on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 12:30 pm at Bay Farm Community Church, 3189 Mecartney Road in Alameda.
