Floyd O'Connor

Floyd A. O'Connor, born August 9, 1920 in Oakland, CA. was called home to the Lord on September 19, 2022 at the remarkable age of 102. His wife Leoma A. O'Connor and daughter Tracy B. O'Connor proceeded him. He leaves behind to mourn and celebrate his life his son Terry M. O'Connor and wife, Lynn E. O'Connor and daughter, Laurel B. O’Connor; his daughter Penny A. Riley, grandson Isaac L. Riley, and granddaughters Autumn R. Riley, and Kelly Z. Martinez; his granddaughter Wendy S. O'Connor and great-grandson Vincent M. O'Connor; his granddaughter Bella R. Garcia and great-grandchildren Nevaeh A. Howard, Nia K. Askew, and David P. Askew III; and a host of family and friends.

Floyd was a World War II and Korean War veteran who served with honor and distinction. He was a longtime member of St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church. He was truly an inspiration to all who knew him and a real blessing from God.

A memorial service will be for him at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church in Oakland, CA. on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. The family prayerfully asks that in lieu of flowers, you consider making a contribution to the National Kidney Foundation.
