 George I. Soule was born in Saint Joseph, Missouri on April 17, 1926; son of George and Mildred Soule.  George married Helena Scofield in Santa Cruz, California in 1946 they had three sons: Tomas, Dennis, and Douglas. He is survived by only Douglas and two wonderful daughters-in-law, Mary Lou and JG Soule.  Out of this marriage and sons, they had five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

 George enlisted in the US Navy during WWII and served in the United States Hospital Corp. His tour of duties included Somoa, US sub base new London.  He served on three submarines, the USS Blenny, USS Ronquil, and USS Scamp out of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. He received service medals from WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. George also did three tours of duty on the navel carrier USS Enterprise out of Alameda, California as a medical officer.  He finally retired from the Navy in 1974 serving a total of 32 years.

George will always be remembered as a caring and loving father, and grandfather and to many friends and family.
