Jeanne Joiner

Jeanne Marie Joiner, Aged 86 years, entered into eternal life, the 2nd day March, 2024. She was surrounded by her loved ones.

Jeanne was a veteran of the U.S Air Force where she met the love of her life, the dearly departed Doyle Ray Joiner (1998). They were married in 1957 and together for 41 years.

During that time Jeanne and Doyle enjoyed back-packing with their two daughters, and riding motorcycles together, as well as enjoying social gatherings with friends. She also enjoyed traveling to Europe, Cruising and visiting other countries. During her long life, she entered many fields including accounting, jewelry making, inventory services, and orchestrating sales at self-storage auctions.

She prided herself in non-traditional roles from cement work, tree trimming with a chain saw, and tending to her awesome cactus and succulents that surround her home. She often said that the only thing domestic about her was, “I own a house.”

Jeanne loved hugs and was known by her grandchildren as:
“Mema the cool grandparent.” She leaves behind an awesome legacy: Her two daughters, Kathy Joiner, MerryLea Joiner, son in law Michael, five grandchildren; Travis, Tyler and Trent, Nathan Henson, Desiree Latham, and three great grandchildren, Styles Henson, Gianna and Malachi Latham. In addition, she is mourned by her brothers Gary & Jim Griffith, Sister Joan Gibson, sister-in-law Judy Griffith, confidant and companion Jim Snyder.
