Lawrence (Larry) Gatterer Jr. was born on February 11, 1941 in Utah and entered Heaven on August 24, 2019.

He is survived by his wife Joan of 35 years, his children Mary Stagnaro, Diane Morey, Sarah Rowton, Thomas Gatterer, Nancy Colbert, Debra Squit, and David Gatterer, 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and his brother Jack of Oakley, California. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He will be remembered for his quick wit, storytelling, and his love of hunting.
