Margaret Alice Smith, a long time resident of Alameda, CA, and a loving wife and mother, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018. She was 85 years old. Margaret was born May 21, 1932 in Oakland CA, the daughter of the late Mowry and Lucille Graybill. Margaret was a strong woman, she was a homemaker and raised three sons while helping run the family business PJ Smith Kustom Kitchens for over 40 years. She enjoyed playing cards with her Alameda bridge club, being an active member of the community, and of the parish at St Joseph Basilica. She sang in the choir, helped with the garden club and gave her time to many other fundraisers for the church. She enjoyed family trips to Hawaii, Sun Valley and Lake Tahoe. In 2014 she moved to Boise, Idaho to be closer to her son and his family. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Philip Sr, and her son Kerry Sr. She is survived by her sons Christopher and Philip, Jr., as well as her grandchildren Rachael, Kelley, Kerry Jr, Jordan, Philip III, Sydney and Braden.

Friends and family may visit after 12:00 noon on Monday February 26th and attend the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. immediately followed by a reception at Greer Family Mortuary and Cremation Services, 2694 Blanding Ave, Alameda.
