Born on August 19, 1932 to the late Edwin and Virla Lund, Peggy passed away on April 2, 2018. She is survived by her children: Penny Watson, Jody Christensen, Joni Pratt, Benjamin Fraga, Dennis Grossmann, Rick Grossmann and Mack Fraga; grandchildren: Aaron Wiederspahn, Josh Wiederspahn, Tricia Christensen, Billie Jo Baer, Hillary Hardy, Gary Woodworth, Nicholas Woodworth, Jason Woodworth, Ruthi Woodworth, Sarah Woodworth, Natalie Woodworth, Jammin Fraga, Cameo Fraga, Anthony Jesse Fraga, Majestic Fraga, Ryan Grossmann, Jesse Grossmann, Richard Grossmann and Jessica Grossmann; and siblings: Chuck Lund and Suzi Lund. Her beloved husband, Anthony (Tony) Fraga, predeceased her in 2013.
Peggy retired from 33 years of service at the Southern Pacific Railroad. She was a union representative for the Brotherhood of Railroad and Airline Clerks (BRAC). Peggy and Tony were active members of Alameda Yacht Club. They sailed the SF Bay in their boat My Way.
Peggy wrote poetry; some of her work was published with the Alameda Island Poets. She also had been an actress in community theater productions in Pacifica, CA.
Family and friends may visit at Greer Family Mortuary and Cremation Services on Friday, April 13th after 5:00 p.m. and attend the vigil service at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at St. Barnabas Church on Saturday, April 14th at 10:30 a.m. Peggy will be laid to rest with her husband at St. Mary Cemetery.
