Richard Michael Quinn

Richard (Richie) passed away suddenly at the age of 37. Richie was born in Alameda, California to parents Barbara Arbios and Richard Quinn. Richie had many siblings who loved him dearly; four sisters: Misty Hancock, Jamie Haines, Rachel Arbios, and Hannah Arbios; and one brother: Trevor Milarski. Richie also had two stepparents who helped to raise him; his stepfather, Max Arbios, and stepmother, Bonnie Quinn. He was the grandson of Robert and Wanda Borromeo; and Andrew and Joyce Gibb. Richie is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

Richie loved life and lived it to the very fullest, he was always looking for his next adventure whether it be dirt-biking through the sand dunes or jumping out of an airplane. Richie’s life was full of fun, so he made life more fun for all those around him. 

Richie was everyone’s personal mechanic, there was no issue he could not fix whether it be a car or a boat.

He loved to be outside whether it be camping with his family and friends or waterskiing behind the family Mastercraft on the Sacramento Delta. In addition, he loved animals. Growing up Richie could catch any critter whether it be a garden snake or even a baby deer. He had many pets during his life and he considered them to be a part of the family. 

Richie was also an incredible artist. He drew beautiful portraits of his sisters’ Rachel and Hannah, his father and sister, Richard and Jamie, and of his partner Jenifer Dunn’s son, Mason. Richie and Jenifer spent the last five years together and Richie was grateful to be able to help raise her two sons, Mason and Aaron. 

Clearly, Richie was an extremely talented man, but most importantly he had the biggest heart. He extended love to everyone around him whether they be a friend or a complete stranger. Everyone who knew Richie would tell you just how special and kind he was. These past few years he has spent caring for his grandfather. They shared a special bond and we are all grateful for the time they were able to spend together. 

Richie’s family and friends are devastated to lose him so suddenly but will all carry him in their hearts forever. 

We miss and love you, fool! 

Family and friends will be gathering on Friday, June 24th at 11:00 a.m. at Greer Family Mortuary and Cremation Services to pay respects and honor the life of Richie.
