Soledad Victorino Tuazon, born on November 8, 1925 in Bambang, Pasig – Philippines, peacefully passed away in Alameda, CA on December 23, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Tuazon.
Her legacy will live on within the hearts of her loving family: children, Raul, Nina, Raymond. The family grew in size through the years. Ruben and Choleng had 8 grandkids: Brandon, Leia, Steven, Ria, Rico, Roland, Vicki, & Kimberly. They were also blessed with 17 great grandchildren: Kalia, Reiman, Emmalynn, Richard, Rainer, Renzo, Sienna, Isaiah, Elijah, Rex, Raymond, Roxanne, Jordan, Kaileiah, Ryu, Ezekiel and Elijah, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Soledad was a devoted wife and mother that made sure her family was always taken care of. She enjoyed cooking, pottery with the other aunties, sewing, playing slot machines, playing Mahjong with the other uncles and aunties, and watching her Oakland Warriors, and her Oakland A's.
Family and friends are invited to attend the services in honor of Soledad on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at St. Joseph Basilica. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by the funeral mass at 11:30 a.m. She will be laid to rest with her husband at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
